چکیده

Volatile organic compounds including benzene, toluene, ethyl and xylene (BTEX) in the atmosphere have severe health environmental implications. These variables are trace elements atmosphere. There not enough measurement analysis studies related to atmospheric BTEX variation globally, even less developing countries like India. The present study analyses variations over an eastern Indian site, Bhubaneswar. continuous of is first its kind 2 years data (2017–2018), attempts find relation with meteorological parameters, significance ratio between components, along transported air masses. To account for pattern emissions association variability Bhubaneswar, we also developed emission details from transportation sector year 2018 analyzed patterns CO NOx 2018. results indicated that concentrations maintained at site via other regions, significant local generation BTEX, which smaller comparison emission.

Some theoretical results concerning O3-NOx-VOC chemistry and NOx-VOC indicators

[1] A series of model results is shown pertaining to ozone, reactive nitrogen (NOy), and peroxides in polluted regions. The results focus on ratios such as O3/NOy and H2O2/HNO3 that have been proposed as indicators for O3-NOx-VOC sensitivity. These ratios are shown to correlate with predicted NOx-VOC sensitivity for a variety of zero-dimensional (0-D) and 3-D models, but the correlation varies ...

O3-NOx-VOC sensitivity and NOx-VOC indicators in Paris: Results from models and Atmospheric Pollution Over the Paris Area (ESQUIF) measurements

[1] A three-dimensional photochemical model has been used to interpret aircraft measurements from the Atmospheric Pollution Over the Paris Area campaign near Paris, with special attention to measurements that are related to predicted O3-NOx-volatile organic compound (VOC) sensitivity. The model (CHIMERE) includes a representation of ozone formation over Europe and a more detailed spatial repres...

Prediction of CO and NOx Levels in Mexico City Using Associative Models

Artificial Intelligence has been present since more than two decades ago, in the treatment of data concerning the protection of the environment; in particular, various groups of researchers have used genetic algorithms and artificial neural networks in the analysis of data related to the atmospheric sciences and the environment. However, in this kind of applications has been conspicuously absen...

Observed and modeled VOC chemistry under high VOC/NOx conditions in the Southeast United States national parks

In airsheds that contain high volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and low NOx (=NO+NO2) concentrations, ozone (O3) production may be significantly suppressed by NOx reactions that lead to the formation of organic nitrates. O3 and its precursors (VOCs and NOx) ambient levels simulated using a regional-scale photochemical model, called Multiscale Air Quality Simulation Platform, are analyzed and co...
